小伙伴们大家好~前几天的练习探讨了LGBT的现状、可能的成因等等，今天的练习，更像是给大家讲述一个故事。

讲述的Speaker自己就是一个拉拉，她还创建了OutChina这个频道，向更多人介绍中国的LGBT群体，她认为，在中国，这个群体需要更多的representation，也需要更多的visibility。

Ihad my first crush on a girl when I was 16 and I kept it secret for three years,because the college entrance examination is hella difficult. And given ahumongous Chinese population, the competition is insane. All I did was workhard, like most Chinese kids. And it's true what they say, I'm really good atmath. After graduation, I told a girl I liked her and it turned out she likedme too. But Chinese kids barely had any sex education and homosexuality is sucha taboo. That's why we don't like to say the word homosexuality out loud,because it sounds too radical. Instead, we say Tong Zhi. Its literaltranslation means comrade.

Thereare three types of Chinese lesbians. T P and H. T means butch. It comes fromthe word tomboy. P means femme, it comes from the Taiwanese word Po, whichmeans wife. H, its English counterpart is versatile. These girls see themselvesas someone in between. When talking about lesbians, most Chinese peopleimmediately think about tomboys. but not all tomboys are lesbians but most ofthem are.

Howdo Chinese lesbians date? Since people are still afraid to come out in publicspace. We mainly use daily apps to meet other queer women. There are three maindating apps Rela, Lesdo, and Lespark. Rela, has over five million users. Butdue to government censorship, the App was shut down in May 2017 because itsupported a group of mothers of LGBT kids to participate in a marriage marketin Shanghai. The mothers of these LGBT kids were later kicked out of the parkand then the app was blocked for a month.
