Guangdong’s athletic superstar, Su Bingtian, has continued his powerful performance at the six-meeting IAAF Indoor Tour, rewriting the Asian record for the second time in four days by clocking in at an astonishing 6.43 seconds in the men’s 60m on Tuesday at the PSD Bank Meeting Dusseldorf.
Su Bingtian smashed the record only two days earlier with a time of 6.47 seconds in Karsuhe on Saturday.
The time now makes Su Bingtian the fifth fastest man in the world at this distance. Following his win, he said “Thank you” in English, adding “I enjoyed this party.”
2306 GD tourists reported safe after Taiwan earthquake
Nine people were killed, 265 injured and 62 are still missing as of 7:00 am Thursday after a magnitude 6.5 earthquake hit Taiwan's Hualien County.
The victims include three tourists from the mainland. Two of them were found in the damaged Yun Men Tusi Ti building in the early hours of Thursday morning.

A female tourist from Fujian province was rescued from the same building Wednesday, but was declared dead at 9:00 pm Wednesday after treatment failed.

According to the China Earthquake Networks Center, the earthquake jolted waters near Hualien County at 11:50 pm Tuesday.
According to the Guangdong Tourism Administration, there are currently 94 Guangdong tours in Taiwan, involving 2306 tourists. Luckily they are all accounted for and will adjust their travel plans.
8 people killed in road collapse in Foshan

Eight people lost their lives in a road collapse in Foshan in South China’s Guangdong Province on Wednesday night.
The collapse occurred at Jihua West Road in Changcheng district which is a major road in downtown Foshan. As of 8:40 am on Thursday, eight people were confirmed dead.
An investigation is currently underway and GRT Radio will bring you more details as the story progresses.
