A massive traffic center located between Terminal 1 and 2 of the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport will be put into use beginning tomorrow as the new Terminal starts operation.
The mega center, called GTC, enables passengers to conveniently transfer between the airport, metro, inter-city railway, buses, taxis and private cars.
The center, equal to 30 standard football pitches in size, is the largest one of its kind in South China. It contains 4 floors above ground and 2 basement floors.
Please keep in mind that passengers taking the following four airlines will need to use T2 beginning tomorrow; Xiamen Airlines, Kenya Airways, Saudi Arabian Airlines and Garuda Indonesia. You can take the north line of Guangzhou Metro Line 3 and get off at “Airport North" station to get to T2.
If you arrive at the wrong terminal, you can take the subway or shuttle bus between Terminals T1 and T2. The free shuttle buses stops at gate 10 on the third floor of Terminal 1 and gate 42 on the third floor of Terminal 2. The shuttle buses set out every 5-15 minutes and operate around the clock.
Free transfers are also available between the "Airport South" station (T1) and the "Airport North" station (T2) on the north line of Guangzhou Metro Line 3.
Foreign trade witnesses 8.2% surge in Q1 2018

In good news for those involved in export and trade, the latest statistics released by Guangdong indicate that in the first quarter of 2018, both import and export volumes experienced stable growth.
In total, the value of foreign trade with Guangdong hit 1.56 trillion RMB, indicating an increase of 8.2% year on year. Broken down, this figure represents an export value of 909.4 billion RMB and an import value of 651.34 billion RMB. Private companies played a significant role in foreign trade, accounting for 47.8% of the total.
Since the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative, foreign trade between Guangdong and countries along the Belt and Road has increased dramatically by 10.5%, reaching 358.55 billion RMB.
Phase 2 of Canton Fair attracts B&R buyers, exhibitors

The second phase of the Canton Fair, otherwise known as the China Import and Export Fair, opened on Monday, with an increased number of exhibitors and buyers from Belt and Road countries.
This phase of the Canton Fair will run through to this Friday (April 27) and is showcasing daily consumer goods and home decorations.
Over 60% of foreign exhibitors are from Belt and Road countries with 382 companies from 21 Belt and Road countries. The Canton Fair has signed cooperation agreements with 46 commercial and industrial organizations from 32 Belt and Road countries to assist in consultation, exhibition and promotion services.
