Visit HK, see Victoria Harbour without crossing the border
A new cruise route that will enable passengers to get a close-up look at various islands, white dolphins in the Pearl River Estuary, and Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour, was launched at 8:30 am on November 14 at the Shekou Cruise Homeport.
The carefully crafted route around Hong Kong's Lantau island is the fourth route to be opened under the "GBA from the sea" project, following the Shenzhen Bay Route, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge route, and the Qianhai Bay Route.
Each journey will last four hours, with trial journeys to take place on November 21 and 28. Tickets will be sold for 688 yuan per adult and 423 yuan per child.
Along the way, passengers will be able to view the Tsing Ma Bridge, part of Hong Kong's Lantau Link, Victoria Harbour, Lantau Island, the Giant Buddha, and Cheng Chau Island. Meanwhile, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge will also be a highlight, and lucky guests may even get a glimpse of precious Chinese white dolphins.
Booking information will be released in December on the Shekou Cruise Homeport's official platforms.
