Story Time 故事时间A Let's read. 一起读吧。One morning, Ed got up, dressed himself and looked outside. 某日早上，艾德起床，穿好衣服看向窗外。He was happy because it would be a nice day to take his dog, Guinness, for a picnic. 他非常开心，因为今天是带他的狗“吉尼斯”去野餐的好日子。Ed saw a few clouds, but they were far away. 艾德看到一些云，但是它们很远。
He was not worried about the clouds. 他不担心云。He put Guinness in the car, and they started out into the country.他把吉尼斯放在车里，他们向村里进发。They were so happy. Guinness was excited. 他们很开心。吉尼斯很激动。They played ball and ran around the fields. 他们踢球，在田野里跑步。
Soon, the wind began to blow. Guinness was afraid. 一会，开始刮风了。吉尼斯很害怕。Ed said, "Everything is going to be fine." 艾德说：“会变好的。”Then snow began to fall. They hurried back to the car. 之后开始下雪。他们匆忙跑回车里。
The snow got heavier. Everything was white. 雪下得更大了。世界变成白色。Ed was worried because there was ice on the road. 艾德很担心，因为路上有冰。The car went off the road. Ed could not make the car move. 车开下了路。艾德艾德不能让车移动。
Now he was scared. 现在他很害怕。Ed said, "It’s OK, Guinness. I’ll call the police." 艾德说：“没关系，吉尼斯。我会给警察打电话的。”The police officer said,  "Don’t worry, we’ll help you. We' ll be there in about an hour." 警察说：“别担心，我们会帮助你的。我们一小时到。”
The police officer asked Ed, "Didn't you watch the weather report this morning? 警察问艾德：“你没看今天的天气预报吗？”They said there was going to be a big snow storm this afternoon." 他们说今天下午会有暴风雪。”Ed said to Guinness, "From now on, I will watch the weather report every morning." 艾德对吉尼斯说：“从今天开始，我会每天看天气预报的。”
