Lesson 18 Lost in the city 在城市迷路
1 Story time 故事时间
I have a sister. Her name is Kitty. 我有个妹妹。叫凯蒂。
She lives in the city, 她住在城市里，
I miss her very much. 我非常想念她。
Today, I am going to visit her. 今天，我要去拜访她。
There are many nice streets and stores in the city. 城市有很多街道和商店。
Where is my sister's home? 我妹妹家在哪？
I meet a nice dog. The dog looks at a map and says, 我遇到一条狗。狗看着地图说：
Excuse me! 不好意思！
Yes? 怎么？
I'm lost. Where is the MICE Apartment? 我走丢了。麦斯公寓在哪里？
The dog looks at the map and says, 狗看着地图说：
"Look! Go down this street and turn left.”“看！沿着这条街走向左转。”
Then I get there. But I see the NICE Apartment, not the MICE Apartment. 然后我到了那里。但是我看 到了奈斯公寓，不是麦斯公寓。
I meet an old bird. 我遇到一只老鸟。
Excuse me, where is the MICE Apartment? 不好意思，麦斯公寓在哪？He
"I'll show you." he says, "Go straight down this street." “我给你指。”他说：“沿着这条街直走。
You'll see the traffic lights. 你能看到交通灯。
Turn right at the traffic lights. 在交通灯右转。
Then you will see the MICE Apartment on the left.” 然后你会在左侧看到麦斯公寓。”
Thank you. 谢谢。
Finally, I get to the MICE Apartment. 最后，我到了麦斯公寓。
My sister is happy to see me. 我妹妹见到我很开心。
