Xinkaihe “locality of life” has now opened a night-time light show, offering residents of Keqiao yet another space for cool evening leisure after a day of toiling under summer’s heat.
新开河活力区开启夜景灯光秀，柯桥市民又多了一处夏夜纳凉休闲地。
From the subway exit of China Textile Station to the “locality” sunken square, a continuous, dazzling belt of lights provide not only practical assistance in night vision, but a rainbow of colors as pleasing to the eye as they are soothing to the heart. Slowly and continuously morphing into an endless array of colors and patterns, from blooming flowers, to falling leaves, to ripples in calm waters, swimming fish, and a myriad of other visual delights, the constantly-changing views invite passers-by to pause in their travels and appreciate the show. In the children’s play area, swing lights change with each movement back and forth, inviting children and parents alike to take part in their irresistible performance, while on the court, fierce but always friendly badminton and table tennis competitions rage on under the brilliant lights cascading down from the stadium above.
从中国轻纺站地铁口出站，进入活力区的下沉广场，拾级而上，可以见到绚丽的灯光组成了连绵灯带，不但提供夜间照明功能，还形成了一条条优美的光之线条。广场上的投影灯则缓缓地变幻着各种色彩和图案，时而出现盛开的花朵、时而出现飘落的树叶，还有水波纹、游鱼等效果，灵动的图案让路人不时驻足观赏。在儿童游乐区内，秋千灯的色彩随着秋千的起伏荡漾而变幻，吸引了不少大人和儿童游玩。球场上，一场场激烈的羽毛球赛、乒乓球赛正在上演。球场上方的照明灯光，让市民们即便在夜晚，也能畅享运动带来的快乐。
Xinkaihe
Xinkaihe “locality of life,” with a total investment of 128 million yuan, and encompassing a total land area of approximately 192,300 square meters, is a project of Keqiao District Rail Transit Group - a “finishing touch” on the city and district’s comprehensive metro project. Beginning from Keqiao Art Museum in the east, stretching to Yuezhou Avenue in the west, with Xinkai River on its south and Qunxian Road on the north, it spans a total length of 2 kilometers, including six functional blocks of leisure space, a sunken commercial square, cultural center, waterfront corridor, jogging and walking space, and more.
总投资1.28亿元的新开河活力区，用地面积约19.23万平方米，由柯桥区轨道交通集团主导开发，是柯桥地铁综合开发的“点睛之笔”。项目东起柯桥美术馆，西至越州大道，南临新开河，北靠群贤路，全长2公里。主要包括下沉商业广场、文化演绎中心、趣味滨水长廊、健康趣味跑道等6个功能区块。
