Cultivate a sense of good nutrition in your kids by signing them up for Little Master Chef-themed cooking classes! Classes are fun, safe and teach kids how to make healthy food choices. However, LMC cooking classes offer so much more. They encompass math skills through measuring, counting, fractions and sequencing. Reading skills are sharpened as children read recipes and therefore increase their vocabulary. Concepts of science and chemistry are explored by making predictions, experimenting, observing how food changes and learning how and where food grows.
They touch on culture and history as children explore international cuisines and generational recipes. There is a focus on art and creativity when Little Master Chefs learn that we eat with our eyes through presentation and the use of colors, which can make a dish taste even better. Little Master Chefs will make new friends and improve their social skills through teamwork, sharing and responsibility.
