Cosmetic treatments

The Beijing United Family Hospital Medical Cosmetic Center is offering Alma laser treatments for facial skin tightening at the discounted price of RMB 3,400 (original price RMB 6,000) until July 31, 2019. Alma treatments offer a method of skin firming. Treatment results include lifting, slimming, and anti-aging effects. Locum services from holistic chiropractor

We have had the pleasure of temporarily offering holistic chiropractor Dr. Khanjani’s services at BJU. Her last day will be on Wednesday, July 3. If you have any holistic medical needs or musculoskeletal issues, make sure to make an appointment with her soon by calling 4008-919191.

Cataract assessments

The BJU Eye Clinic is offering five free pre-operative assessments for cataract patients over the age of 60. This offer is renewed every month. Sign up early to get save a spot! To register, please call the Eye Clinic at 5727 7037.

Hepatitis consultations

New German-speaking physician at BJU

BJU recently welcomed a new German-speaking doctor, Dr. Zheng Hongwei, to join our Family Medicine team. Dr. Zheng Hongwei is a Family Medicine physician with more than 10 years of experience. Before joining BJU, she served in the Medical Center Praxis Matic in Germany as a family doctor. Dr. Zheng speaks German as well as English and Mandarin.

BJU hosts medical seminars Beijing International Medical Society

Throughout the month of June, BJU has hosted a number of medical seminars that allow doctors and medical professionals to share their skills and knowledge. As a result, patients all over Beijing can enjoy a higher standard of care from better-informed doctors. Seminars include the Beijing International Medical Society (BIMS) seminar, the Beijing Medical Association Academic seminar for Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, and the Beijing Great Wall Urology Forum, all of which were hosted at BJU. 

High standards at BJU’s lab facilities

BJU’s Pathology Lab, Clinical Lab, and Blood Bank have recently been reaccredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). This certifies that our lab testing services are reliable, accurate, and meet the rigorous standards of the CAP. 

BJU blood drives

On June 14, BJU held another blood drive, this time in honor of World Blood Donor Day. So far this year, BJU has collected 14 liters of blood from local good Samaritans. These will go to help those in need and may help to save a life. Mark your calendars for the next blood drive: Monday, December 16, 2019. 

Healthy living event for English speakers

On June 18, newcomers and old China hands learned about making healthier choices in Beijing at BJU’s Healthy Living Seminar. The revenue generated from ticket sales was donated to the UFH charitable arm, United Foundation for China’s Health, which helps bring healthcare to people in need around China. 

First-aid support at international community events
