Free Pain Clinic Consultation at BJU on October 11

Friday, October 11, is the Global Day Against Pain. To raise awareness about pain not just as a symptom but as a disease state, and for people to better understand their pain-related conditions, Beijing United Family Hospital (BJU) Pain Clinic will offer a "Free Pain Consultation Event" all day on Friday, October 11.

If you or your loved ones have been troubled by pain or have related questions, you are welcomed to register. Read more for specific information.

What: There will be a free clinic held for a total of eight people who are eligible. Each person will receive a 40-minutes free consultation with one of our pain specialists.

Who: Anyone above 14 years of age can register 

When: Friday, October 11ay 

Where: Beijing United Family Hospital (first floor, Building 2, BJU main hospital location, 2 Jiangtai Road).

Meet the specialists

Dr. Keqin Yang is a Pain Specialist and an Associate Professor. Dr. Yang has more than 30 years of clinical experience. He specializes in minimally invasive treatments for issues such as shinglespain, headaches, trigeminal neuralgia (facial pain), allergic rhinitis, cancerpain, and joint and soft tissue pain. He currently works at the Pain Management Center at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital. 

Dr. Lu Yang is the Deputy Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management, a Pain Specialist, and an Associated Professor. Besides clinical anesthesia practice, Dr. Yang is experienced in acute and chronic pain management, drawing her experience and training from several well-known pain centers. She provides patient-centered pain management solutions for a range of chronic pain, including neck, shoulder, back joint, arthritis, post-herpetic, headache, and cancer-related pain.
