EmpowerHer: Knowledge & Rhythm for Women's Health

In honor of International Women's Day, Beijing United Family Hospital invites everyone to join us for a special event celebrating women. On March 7, we welcome you to attend a fun and informative morning with us!

The event opens with three very exciting, knowledgeable speakers.

Dr. Dong Bei, a family medicine physician, will talk about common women's issues that we all need to be aware of. Dr. Dong completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky, where she specialized in women’s health and completed a number of research projects. She is particularly focused on female health issues.

Our new obstetrician/gynecologist, Dr. Nargis Ashurova, will discuss hormone health in an informative session titled, “Are Biological Clocks Real? Our Reproductive Lifecycle." Dr. Ashurova joins United Family with over 25 years of clinical experience working in many exciting places around the world.

Lily Zhou, a BJU psychologist, will talk about “Empowering Mental Health and Connection." Ms. Zhou works with children and young adults to improve their learning skills and personal development; she also treats and diagnoses various conditions such as anxiety and depression and works with clients on behavior management, interpersonal relationships, and more.

The event will conclude with a lucky draw (prizes include women’s health assessments and AI-driven retinal photography for chronic disease assessments) and then a chance for everyone to get up and get moving. Claudia from Academy C-Baila will lead us in lady bachata-style dancing.

Join us to learn, make new friends, and celebrate womanhood, health, and empowerment together!
