Scientific and technological developments allow society to advance, improving quality of life whilst reducing our impact on the environment. Physical chemists and chemical physicists have driven fundamental understanding with vital contributions across disciplines, from the development of fertilizer to photovoltaics to drug development and delivery.

As technology moves us towards an increasingly open global community, so too can we make research results more widely available so that they can be applied for the benefit of all.

ACS Physical Chemistry Au is a new open access journal that will support you in sharing your results widely and quickly across the world, so others can cite and build on the discoveries you have made.

As an open access journal, ACS Physical Chemistry Au is designed for authors and will enable you to:

This broad-scope journal includes 

experimental, computational and theoretical research of interest to physical chemists, biophysical chemists, chemical physicists, physicists, material scientists, and engineers.

The Editor, Professor Gemma C. Solomon (Denmark),  will ensure the peer review process for ACS Physical Chemistry Au will be rigorous, fair and efficient. The journal will publish significant, meaningful and impactful new research.

To make ACS Physical Chemistry Au open, discoverable and sustainable for all readers, the authors of accepted papers will pay an Author Publishing Fee (APC) and choose the CC-BY or CC-BY-NC-ND publishing license.

Your funder might actively support open access publishing and allow your APCs to be paid from your grant.
