Progress in the biological and medicinal sciences has led to a dramatic improvement of the human condition. Biological chemists have engineered microorganisms to produce renewable fuels that support international transportation. Medicinal chemists have devised new therapeutics to treat debilitating diseases. Plant scientists have enabled us to feed more of our growing global population.

Scientific discoveries are advanced most efficiently when validated research is shared quickly, equitably, and widely.

ACS Bio & Med Chem Au is a new open access journal that will support you in sharing your results widely and quickly across the world, so others can cite and build on the discoveries you have made.

This broad-scope journal includes 

experimental and theoretical studies on the chemical, physical, mechanistic, and/or structural basis of biological or cell function in all domains of life. It encompasses the fields of medical chemistry, chemical biology, synthetic biology, disease biology, cell biology, agriculture and food, natural products research, nucleic acid biology, neuroscience, structural biology, and biophysics.

The Editor, Professor Squire J. Booker (USA),  will ensure the peer review process for ACS Bio & Med Chem Au will be rigorous, fair and efficient. The journal will publish significant, meaningful and impactful new research.

To make ACS Bio & Med Chem Au open, discoverable and sustainable for all readers, the authors of accepted papers will pay an Author Publishing Fee (APC) and choose the CC-BY or CC-BY-NC-ND publishing license.
