李建国
Li Jianguo
著名油画家，1949年生于北京，先后毕业于中央美术学院附中和南京师范学院美术系，硕士学位。1969年赴黑龙江生产建设兵团，1984年至2012年任职《江苏画刊》杂志任编辑、副主编、画刊杂志社社长兼主编。
He is a famous oil painter, born in 1949 in Beijing, graduated from Fine Arts School Affiliated to China Central Academy and the Fine Arts Major of Nanjing Normal University, he also obtains a Master's Degree. In 1969, he went to Heilongjiang Production and Construction Corps, from 1984 to 2012, he worked in Jiangsu Pictorial where he served as an editor, deputy editor, president of the magazine club, and chief editor of the magazine.
中国美术家协会会员，中国油画年展学术委员，江苏省油画学会副主席，南京师范大学特聘教授，西安美术学院特聘研究员、客座教授，江苏国际文化交流中心理事，江苏美术出版社编审、纽约《世界艺术研究院-现代油画院》荣誉院长、研究员。
He is a member of the China Artists Association; a member of the China Oil Painting Annual Exhibition Academic Committee; the vice-chairman of Jiangsu Oil Paintings Study Association; the distinguished Professor of Nanjing Normal University; distinguished Professor and Visiting Professor of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts; the director of the Jiangsu International Cultural Communication Center; copy editor of Jiangsu Fine Arts Publishing House; and the honorary principal and a researcher of New York "World Research Institute of Art-Modern Oil Painting College."
作品参加第二届全国青年美展，第六届、七届、八届全国美展，中国油画年展，中国油画展，百家金陵油画展，江苏省重大题材观摩展等等。在英国伦敦、加拿大多伦多、日本名古屋举办个人作品展。
His works had participated in the Second National Youth Fine Arts Exhibition, the Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth National Fine Arts Exhibition, China Oil Painting Annual Exhibition, China Oil Painting Exhibition, Nanjing Painting Exhibition, Jiangsu Major Theme Observation Exhibitions, etc.. Li also held solo exhibitions in London, U.K., Toronto, Canada, and Nagoya, Japan.

The works won the Second Place in the National Broadcasting Painting Exhibition and the Excellence Award of National Fine Arts Exhibition, the first Literary and Art Award of editing "China Oil Painting" in Jiangsu.
油画作品被多国和各地博物馆、美术馆、艺术机构和私人收藏。
His oil paintings were collected by museums, art galleries, art organizations, and private collections of multiple countries.

Interpretation of Li Jianguo's Oil Painting
我和建国相知相识那么多年，有着较深的交往和感情。他读央美附中，去北大荒，后上南京师范大学美术系硕士研究生，我们从没中断过联系。尤其是他担任《江苏画刊》编辑，后又担任主编、社长。编辑事务和绘画他都从没放弃，而且几十年如一日坚守下来，两者都取得了骄人的成就，实属不易。这两方面是相辅相成的，他的眼界不断开阔，对他的绘画有很大的促进作用。
Knowing Jianguo for so many years, we have a pretty deep connection and relationship. We never lost contact even when he went to the Fine Arts School Affiliated to China Central Academy, to the plains in the north, or when he attended the Fine Arts Major of Nanjing Normal University to pursue a Master's Degree. Especially when he worked as the editor of Jiangsu Pictorial, then escalate to the chief editor and president. He never gave up editing works or painting and stuck to it for decades as if its just a day. In both areas, he achieves great success, which is not easy. These two aspects intergrow with each other, while his eye-sight opens up, it encourages him to create better paintings.
建国油画作品“人体”，有好几组，很美，也很深沉，同流行的人体绘画不同，带着一种伤感，一丝忧郁，这和他内心深处藏而不露的个人阅历系系相关。
Jianguo's oil painting piece "Body" is a series of works with multiple groups. They are beautiful but concealing, different from the popular body paintings, his works contain a sense of sorrow and depression, which coincide with his personal experience that is hidden deep in the heart.
