of the China Schools Awards 2024
Last night saw over 100 in attendance as this year's China Schools Awards Gala Dinner was held in Guangzhou. Joined by renowned schools offering international K-12 schooling, as well as education suppliers ranging from outdoor activities, to STEM and more, this year's event celebrated the very best in internationally-oriented K-12 education in China.
After a record number of applications were whittled down to thirty finalists, last night saw our eleven winners officially announced. Scroll down to see the full results!
Welcome from the British Chamber:
Jeremy Sargent OBE
Jeremy Sargent OBE, Chair of the British Chamber in Guangdong, formally began the night's proceedings. Offering a warm welcome to Guangzhou, he thanked the three British Chambers who co-organised the event, with teams from Beijing, Chengdu and Guangzhou all helping to run this edition of the China Schools Awards. Having faced a challenging couple of years as a sector, Jeremy remarked upon the vitality and energy brought by the schools and suppliers in the awards this year.
Award Patron: Sarah Mann
As this year's China Schools Awards Patron, Sarah Mann, British Consul General Guangzhou, began by reflecting on the strength of British and international education providers in Guangdong and across the entire country. Welcoming educators and suppliers from across China, as well as a special delegation from the UK, she emphasised the importance of continued people-to-people exchange in areas such as learning, development, and knowledge sharing.
