How is Tianmei’s World Academy contributing to SDG4?
Sustainability and the UN Sustainability Goals have become a hot topic in a lot of circles both in China and abroad.
There are many organizations focusing on recycling, creating awareness or any other type of actions that they believe they can do.
Everyone wants to contribute with as much as they can to make our world a better place.
可持续发展和联合国可持续发展目标已成为国内外各界关注的热点问题。
有许多组织专注于回收，创造意识或任何他们相信可以为促进环保行为而做的各种事情。
大家都想尽其所能为让我们的世界变得更好而做出贡献。
As an organization, Tianmei’s World Academy is also contributing to the achievement of several SDGs.
However, our foremost focus is on SDG 4: Ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning.
In this article I will mention how we do that and how you can support us.
作为一个组织，天美的世界学院也为可持续发展目标的实现正在做贡献。
学院的首要重点是可持续发展目标4：确保包容和公平的优质教育，让全民终身享有学习机会。
在本文中，我将提到我们如何为SDG4作出贡献，以及大家如何能支持我们。
学院为实现平等获得知识和教育机会而采取的第一步是发展成一个“教室网络”的学校概念。
通过利用环境心理学的知识来理解创造养育学习环境的确切要素，天美的世界学院能够在任何可用的空间设计高质量的学习体验，从而让学习机会来到学习者所在的地方，而不是相反。
At the same time, through the educational framework that the Academy has researched and developed in the past 4 years, we are also able to tailor the learning experience against a “one-size-fits-all” approach currently used in many areas.
This way, the learner is able to explore through personal experience what type of learning environment and method is most suitable for the self and further develop individual potential.
同时，通过学院在过去4年中研究和开发的教育框架，我们设计的所有学习体验就突破了“一刀切”学习方法。
如此，学习者就能够通过亲身体验而探索出什么样的学习环境和方法最适合自己，并进一步地发挥个人潜能。
Another step that the Academy has taken to make high quality educational opportunities more accessible is to design learning programs in which participants can join at no financial cost.
In order to cover the costs for running these programs, we work with companies who want to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs, but might not have the capacity in-house to do that.
To support them, we allow them to leverage Tianmei’s World Academy’s expertise.
One such example is our partner Dianguagua, a company that offers Battery as a Service.
学院为使高质量的教育机会人人都能获得而采取的另一个步骤是设计参与者可以免费参加的学习计划。
为了支撑运行这些项目的成本，我们与那些希望为实现可持续发展目标作出贡献，内部却可能没有经验设计高质量学习体验的公司合作。
我们就利用天美的世界学院的专业知识来协助他们为实现可持续发展目标做贡献。
其中一个例子就是我们的合作伙伴电呱呱，一家提供电池为服务的公司。
That means that they don’t only sell electric scooters, but they also offer services to change the battery every time users run out of electricity.
So, as a user you wll never have to worry again about whether you have electricity or not.
To strengthen their constribution to the SDGs, Dianguagua has sponsored Tianmei’s World Academy’s SDG Ambassador program for university students.
This is a learning program that allows students not only to learn more about the Sustainable Development goals, but also to directly apply what they learn, thus gaining real life practical experience and enhancing their employability while still in university.
电池为服务意味着他们不仅销售电动车，而且还提供每次用户用电时更换电池的服务。
所以，作为一个用户，你再也不用担心你的电动车有没有电了。
为加强对可持续发展目标的建设，电呱呱资助了天美的世界学院设计的大学生可持续发展目标代言人学习计划。
这个学习计划，不仅能让大学生可以了解更多的可持续发展目标相关的知识，而且允许他们直接在生活中应用他们所学的，从而获得实践经验，提高就业能力。
