《菩萨蛮》这首词描绘了游子对家乡江南的思念。然而，烽火战乱、山河破碎，游子已难还乡，纵使还乡，也只会肝肠寸断。

《湖山春暖图》是清初画家恽寿平的代表作，现藏于天津博物馆。画卷长达6米，气势恢弘。一江春水向东奔流，两艘画船漂流江上，山雾弥漫，潮湿清新的气息扑面而来，与词中的意境和雨水节气相呼应。
