Applied Quantitative Research Methods
Requirements:For this assignment, we are going to use this dataset to study the application of regression analysis with both simple ordinary least squares (OLS) regression the use of instrumental variables (IV).
1.The main task will be to what extent the innate ability of young men as measured by their IQ determines success in the labor market as measured by the wages.
2.Due to the potential endogeneity problem in using IQ as a measure of innate ability, you will also need to estimate additional models using the relevant instrumental variables that are available in the dataset.
3.You will be required to compare and comment on the results from the models you have estimated.
