Job Description

Position 1 – Fund Operation

What is the global capital market like? How do these big names Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs provide services to the clients? How do financial derivatives burn your brain? What is the fund management industry like? As a fund operation intern, you will find the answers by working closely with Fund Administrators/Prime Brokers/Custodian banks on a daily basis. Checking trading confirmations, dealing with treasure management, performing reconciliations, calculating NAV, generating reports and do fund performance analysis. 

Position 2 – Portfolio Development

How to add value to portfolio companies standing at an owner’s perspective?  How to get familiar with budgeting and business performance review? How to gain deeper understanding of deal structuring and due diligence process? As a portfolio development intern, you will find the answers by supporting PD team on data analysis, documentation and other daily operations. Performing in-depth research on various portfolio management topics.

Who We Are Looking For

Students who are expected to graduate in 2018 with superior academic achievements from top-tier universities (Prefer MBA or graduate students for PD team).

Have strong interest in fund or portfolio management. Previous internship in top tier accounting, consulting, or MNCs is a plus.

Demonstrate relentless intellectual curiosity and a strong drive to analyze problems in new ways and to excel at the highest level.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and develop relationships inside and outside the organization to enable effective completion of business objectives.

Operate effectively in a multi-cultural, fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment with a high degree of attention to details.

Demonstrate strong written, oral and presentation skills both in both English and Chinese.
