Wu Zunyou, China CDC's Chief Expert of Epidemiology modified the 5 suggestions for monkeypox prevention on his Weibo account.

1.

Now:

不要同近期(三周内)来自境外猴痘疫情流行区且有可能感染了猴痘的外国人发生亲密肌肤直接接触

Don't have intimate direct skin to skin contact wih foreigners who enter China within 3 weeks, and are from countries where monkeypox occurs frequently and may get infected.

Before:

不要同外国人发生肌肤直接接触

Don't have direct skin to skin contact with foreigners.

2.

Now:

不要同近期（三周内）从境外猴痘疫情流行区或经猴痘疫区中转且有可能感染猴痘的回国人员发生亲密肌肤直接接触

Don't have intimate direct skin to skin contact wih people who return to China within 3 weeks, and are from countries or transit in countries where monkeypox occurs frequently and may get infected.

Before:

不要同近期（三周内）从境外回国的人发生肌肤接触

Don't have direct skin to skin contact with poeple who entered China within 3 weeks.

3.

Now:

不要同陌生人发生亲密肌肤直接接触

Don't have intimate direct skin to skin contact with strangers.

Before:

不要同陌生人发生肌肤接触

Don't have direct skin to skin contact with strangers.

4.

要注意做好手卫生

Keep good hand hygiene.

5.

使用公共厕所，包括出差住宿宾馆的厕所，如果使用座便器，尽可能使用一次性坐便纸，如果条件不允许，也可用酒精湿纸巾或蘸热水的纸巾擦拭后再使用。

Use one-off paper toilet seat cover at public toilet, or wipe the seat with alcohol wet paper towel or towel wet with hotwater.
