Jiangsu province recognizes WND’s excellence in venture capital development
2022年度省创业投资企业竞争力提升行动计划及创业投资示范载体建设工程认定名单公布，无锡高新区首次认定数及累计认定总数均列全市各板块第一。无锡国际生命科学创新园、中国工业博览园总部园区、无锡旺庄科技创新园等5个单位和团队首次获得认定。
Jiangsu Province recently announced the 2022 Action Plan for Enhancing Competitiveness of Venture Capital Enterprises and the Certification List of Venture Capital Demonstration Carrier Construction Projects. Five units and teams, including the Wuxi International Life-Science Innovation Campus, China Industrial Expo Park Headquarters, and Wuxi Wangzhuang Science and Technology Innovation Park, were certified for the first time. The Wuxi National Hi-tech District (WND) led in both number of first-time certifications and total certifications among all areas in Wuxi City.
截至目前，无锡高新区共获评江苏省创业投资集聚发展示范区2个，江苏省创业投资综合服务基地2个，江苏省创业投资品牌领军企业1家，江苏省创业投资优秀团队4支，数量位列全市各板块第一。
Currently, the WND boasts the most provincial-level venture capital certifications in the city, including two demonstration areas for agglomerated venture capital development, two comprehensive service bases, one brand leader, and four outstanding venture capital teams in Jiangsu province.

Wuxi investment promotion team sets off on 10-day trip to Europe
1月30日凌晨0点，由无锡高新区（新吴区）科技局、科创中心、太科办、梅村街道等部门、街道组成的6人招商小分队赴欧洲“敲门”招商，这是春节后无锡首发的境外招商团组，抢抓节后招商“开门红”。
A six-member investment promotion team from Wuxi set off on a journey to Europe on Jan 30, eager to promote investment in technology and industry. The team is composed of officers from the Wuxi National Hi-tech District's science and technology bureau and innovation center, the Wuxi Taihu International Science and Technology Park Management Office, and other related departments from Meicun sub-district. They made their move quickly after Spring Festival, hoping for a strong start in their mission.
10天时间，他们将辗转3国10城马不停蹄开展招商行动。此次欧洲之行，将侧重于科技招商、产业招商，围绕正在推进的中欧合作创新区的建设，与欧洲重点企业、高水平科研院所进行合作对接，加速落地一批产业大项目，形成一批科创合作的新成果，推动科技园区三大创新中心落地。
The team will travel to 10 cities in three countries over the course of 10 days. With a focus on the ongoing construction of the China-Europe (Wuxi) Green Industry Cooperation Innovation Zone, the team aims to collaborate with key European companies and scientific research institutes to advance the implementation of large-scale industrial projects and create significant sci-tech cooperation achievements. The goal is to attract investment and help establish three innovation centers within Wuxi's science and technology park.

Industrial talent institute unveiled, biomedical talent training opens
2月1日，无锡产业人才实训学院揭牌暨2023年高新区（新吴区）生物医药人才实训开班仪式举行。
The Wuxi Industrial Talent Training Institute was unveiled on Feb 1 during the opening ceremony of the 2023 Wuxi National Hi-tech District (Xinwu District) Biomedical Talent Training.
此次揭牌的无锡产业人才实训学院积极探索“政府搭台、学校企业主导”的办学新模式，以及个性化产业人才“量身定制”的培育新路径，必将深度耦合教育链、人才链和产业链，为广大企业用好用活各类人才提供重要保障，为高新区乃至全市构建现代化产业体系、建设新时代工商名城发挥关键作用。
The institute is exploring a new model of school administration that is government-based, school-enterprise-led and has a new approach to tailor-made cultivation of personalized industrial talents. This effort will enhance the connection between the education and talent chains to industries, providing critical support for companies so they can effectively utilize talents and play a key role in building a modern industrial system in the WND and Wuxi. The institute's goal is to help build Wuxi into a renowned industrial and commercial hub in the new era.
