• 24 Schengen countries in Europe: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovak, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

• 13 other European countries: Russia, Great Britain, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania.

• 6 American countries: The United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Chile.

• Citizens from the 51 countries under the 144-hour Transit Visa Exemption Program (the origins and destinations of travelers are not limited to such 51 countries)

• Foreign nationals with valid international travel documents and air ticket for a connecting flight with confirmed date of flight and seat for a third country (region) leaving China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport within 144 hours

• The range of staying during the visa exemption is limited to the administrative precincts of Guangdong Province

• 属于144小时过境免签政策范围的51个国家公民（旅客出发和到达目的地不限于这51个国家）

• 持有本人有效国际旅行证件、第三国（地区）签证和144小时内已确定日期及座位的从广州白云国际机场出境前往第三国（地区）联程机票

• 免签期间活动范围限于广东省行政区域内

The accurate limit of 144-hour transit

144小时如何计算

The 144-hour limit is calculated by starting with 0'clock the next day of the traveler's entry.

For example, if a traveler enters China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 08:00 on 1 July, 2017, the visa exemption limit for entry is calculated by starting with 00:00 on 2 July, 2017. The traveler can leave China before 23:59 on 7 July, 2017.

144小时的时限是从旅客入境次日零时起开始计算。例如旅客2017年7月1日08:00从广州白云国际机场入境，入境免签时限是从2017年7月2日00:00开始计算，2017年7月7日23:59前出境即可。

Passengers can leave China at any customs including railway stations, wharfs, airports, etc. in Guangdong province.
