Yesterday, State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs just launched New services on WeChat. Here are some useful functions:

• Check the application of China work permit.

• Calculate scores to check out which category you are classified from the work permit system. 

• Receive the latest notice from Foreign Experts Bureau.

Check the application of China work permit

1. Follow the WeChat official account, extract the following QR code.

WeChat ID: wgrlhfw

2. Follow 2 steps to click in service page of checking application.

3. Input the number of your application, if you don't have, please check with your consultant.

4. You can see every step of the application, but it is a bit inconvenient for foreigners, all descriptions are only Chinese right now. Turn to Chinese friends in need. Here is an example:

Under the new system, foreigners are classified into the following three categories with a scoring system.

New Classifications

• Category A: High-end Professionals (85 points and above)

• Category B: Professional Personnel (60-85 points)

• Category C: Ordinary Applicants (below 60 points)

Connecting to the service system, you will be informed about the approval or denial of the application.

Don't feel frustrated for only Chinese is available until now, the system is developing towards more friendly for foreigners, the English version is expected to come very soon.
