Chine Policeman Saves Dinner for Homeless Old Woman

A photo of a patrol officer in Harbin, capital of northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province, giving his box of dishes to a homeless old woman has gone viral among netizens, Heilongjiang Network Broadcast and Television Station reported.

Policeman Wang Jingchong said he felt sympathetic for the old woman as he found her wandering around his police car and sometimes looking into trash bins for food at the crossroads of Jinwei Street and Xinyang Road in the city’s Daoli District.

Wang has started to give the old woman his own dishes for nearly two months. 

He promises the old woman that she can always get dishes from him if he is on duty. Meanwhile, Wang’s colleagues will share their dishes with him.
