MyCOS, an educational assessment firm, has published the Chinese College Graduates Employment Report, highlighting the best college majors for gaining employment.
According to the report, the average employment rate six months after earning their degree for college graduates was 91.8 percent.
Among all majors, software engineering, engineering management and architecture environment and equipment engineering enjoyed the highest employment rates, which were 96.5 percent, 95.9 percent and 95.8 percent, respectively.
The report was based on a survey that covered147,000 college graduates.
The 10 majors with the highest rates of employment are listed below.
Digital Media Technology
Employment rate (six months after graduation): 94.9 percent
Logistics Management
Employment rate (six months after graduation): 95.3 percent
Employment rate (six months after graduation): 95.3 percent
Thermal energy & power engineering
Employment rate (six months after graduation): 95.4 percent
Nursing
Employment rate (six months after graduation): 95.4 percent
Information Management and Information Systems
Employment rate (six months after graduation): 95.4 percent
Electrical Engineering and Automation
Employment rate (six months after graduation): 95.5 percent
Architecture Environment and Equipment Engineering
Employment rate (six months after graduation): 95.8 percent
Engineering Management
Employment rate (six months after graduation): 95.9 percent
Software Engineering
Employment rate (six months after graduation): 96.5 percent
