Bilingual Low Carbon Tour Invitation!低碳游览双语版来啦！

Since Green Light-Year started its first ever low carbon tour in its surrounding community, there have been some inquiries from international families: do you have English interpretation? Yes, we will have a bilingual low carbon tour forthe first time on 4th September 2016 (Sunday)! You will be able to experience low carbon community and green lifestyle and technologies with ten American students from Long Island College, New York. A workshop with these college students will be arranged at the end of the tour.

绿色光年自从推出低碳环保游览以来，有不少混血小朋友的中国妈妈们也来咨询过：有没有中英文解说？现在我们正式邀请有混血小朋友的家庭和想用英文交流环保低碳知识的中国小朋友们参加9月4日（周日）的环保低碳游活动。这一天，美国长岛大学和浙江大学的Global Studies专业10名美国师生将慕名参观最本土最接地气的中国草根环保NGO绿色光年的社区项目。报名参加本次活动的家庭将与美国大学生们全程参观并一起座谈！

About Global College of Long Island University：
纽约长岛大学介绍：


Global College of Long Island University, New York, provides four-year Global Studies undergraduate program. Global College’s China Program is an undergraduate exchange program with Zhejiang University. Every year, there are undergraduate students from Long Island University coming to Zhejiang University to study Mandarin, Chinese Culture, History and Social Development, etc. The exchange student group are mainly sophomore students majored in Global Studies. Their curriculum includes sustainable development. This Shanghai trip for these students will provide some insights for students to better understand China’s progress in sustainable development and environmental protection.

纽约长岛大学环球学院（Global College of Long Island University），隶属于纽约长岛大学，提供4年制、国际研究专业 （Global Studies）的本科教育。环球学院的中国项目是与浙江大学合作的本科生交换项目，每年有长岛大学的本科生前往浙江大学作为留学生学习汉语、中国文化、历史和社会发展的一些相关问题。学生以Global Studies专业、大三为主的学生。学生的课程设置中有与可持续发展相关的议题。此次上海之行，美国长岛大学的师生们将深入了解中国本土在可持续发展和环境保护方面的一些发展状况，并希望与在中国的家庭交流。

参观低碳达人倪欢老师的家和社区：

Go treasure-hunting at Helen’s home! Helen is China’s first CIGS thin film solar plant civil user. At her home, you will see a small organic vertical farm. She made her own fertilizer out of her own kitchen waste by composting with EM germs. She also has an aquaponics system that she plants vegetables and raising fish. She owns an EV too.

参观上海市第一座居民区内集中式充电桩停车场，现场解说如何在这个社区同时解决新能源汽车“最后一公里”的停车难和充电难的问题。再到倪欢老师的环保小院里，四大宝贝等你来发现！

This house was a student work running for 2013 International Solar Decathlon Competition. This Eco-house can be energy and water independent.

交大学生自主研发建造的生态房“日上江村”作为2013年国际太阳能十项全能比赛的参赛作品，可以实现所有能源和水源的自给自足。

• Low Carbon Tour: 100 Yuan/Person (Including meal, visiting sites, EV transportation and explanation) 
  

• 低碳游览100元/人（含午餐、参观费、交通费、讲解费）

• DIY Green Lamp: 248 Yuan/lamp (about 2.5 hours to finish with 3 on-site teachers)

• DIY环保灯248元/台（制作全程约2.5小时，现场指导共三名老师）

About Green Light-Year关于绿色光年

The full name is Shanghai Minhang Jiangchuan Green Light-Year Environmental Service Center. It was founded in March 2016 and wasregistered with Shanghai Minhang District Civil Affairs Department as a NGO.Its mission is to base in urban community to organize experiential and interactive events to promote low carbon and environmental education among there sidents in the communities. We are trying to make low carbon lifestyle visible,tangible, able to experience, and able to spread.

全称上海闵行区江川绿色光年环保服务中心，是2016年3月在上海闵行区民政局正式注册的民办非企业公益组织。其使命是根植于城市基层社区，通过开展体验式、互动式的系列活动，致力于在社区居民中进行形式多样的公众教育，使环保低碳在老百姓生活中“看得见、摸得着、能体验、会传播”。
