“勤学、修德，明辨、笃实”是习近平总书记在北京大学与师生座谈时，对当代大学生提出的希望。习近平总书记把"勤学"置于首要位置:“要勤于学习，敏于求知，注重把所学知识内化乎心，形成自己的见解，既要专攻博先，又要关心国家，关心人民，关心世界，学会担当社会责任。”
勤学，是阳明心学之一。我们地处阳明圣地，如何以以阳明心学理解勤学？在上一篇中，我们学习了“立志”，那志已立，后待如何？
怀揣着这些问题，让我们在五月的今天，跟随“心学进校英语说”，一起走进阳明心学“勤学”篇。

阳明心学之中
王阳明强调勤学的重要性，他认为：
“从吾游者不以聪慧警捷为高，而已勤确谦抑为上。”
"From my associates, those who are not wise and quick-witted are considered superior, but those who are diligent, modest, and humble."
如今，这一理念依然具有深远的意义，尤其对于正处于人生成长阶段的大学生而言，勤学无疑是为未来播下希望的种子，是通往己志的桥梁，也是实现志向的起点。立足于“立志”基石之上，促进自我求学之心，勤以修身，学以笃志。

勤学如春起之苗，不见其增，日有所长。
但勤学不是一味苦练，方法也必不可少 。

勤耕不辍，履践致远。勤为成者之要，人生波涛千里浪，勤可破浪，亦能造风，乘风破浪，披荆斩棘。同学们，学期已过半，应及时当勉励，让我们勤学为先，与风浪前行，一往无前。
