卒中是中国致死率、致残率最高的疾病,是由环境和遗传因素共同导致的复杂疾病,然而其具体的机制和遗传因素尚不清楚。使用高通量测序技术对中国国家卒中登记-III(The Third China National Stroke Registry, CNSR-III)的万余例卒中患者样本进行全基因组深度测序,可获得患者的全部遗传信息,绘制中国卒中人群基因图谱,从而揭示卒中发生、发展或预后的机制,有助于发现潜在的卒中二级预防治疗的新药靶点。

研究结论:这项卒中领域首个万人全基因组深度测序研究,是绘制中国缺血性卒中人群基因图谱的重要一步。结合CNSR-III丰富的临床和影像学表型资料,将为中国卒中人群的精准医学研究提供完备的大数据平台,有助于进一步研究缺血性卒中的分子生物学机制,发现潜在的新药靶点。
