A number of direct international flights to China have lately restarted following the repeated "Cancellation of Transit Restrictions" issued by the Chinese embassies in various nations.

All Nippon Airways

Beginning on July 11, All Nippon Airways will once again offer service between Beijing and Tokyo's Narita International Airport. It has been almost two years and three months since ANA last flew on the Beijing rou te.

Etihad Airways

As of June 30 at 5:32 a.m., direct passenger flights between the capitals of the UAE and China have resumed without incident. This was made possible by Etihad Airways's flight EY888, which touched down safely at Beijing Capital International Airport in China.

AIR CHINA

China Eastern

There will be a direct flight between London and Shanghai in July, according to the China Eastern Airlines website. 

The flight details consist of:

● July 8/15/22/29 (Friday), MU552
London-Shanghai Pudong 21:20-15:40+1

● July 7/14/21/28 (Thursday), MU551
Shanghai Pudong-London 13:30-18:40+1

But soon the cancellation was announced.

Currently, passing via other nations is the only route to go from the UK to China.

CONVIASA

On July 30, CONVIASA, the country's largest airline, will begin service from Caracas to Guangzhou, marking Guangzhou the carrier's second Asian destination after Tehran. Given that the full trip is 16,243 kilometers long, Tehran will serve as a technical rest stop.

International Flights to China Update

Kyrgyzstan

The regular Urumqi-Bishkek flight resumed on July 5 according to a statement from the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.

The flight is the first planned travel between the two nations since direct flights were halted in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic. Every two weeks, China Southern Airlines is supposed to run flights CZ6005 and CZ6006.

Serbia

Beginning on July 16, Hainan Airlines intends to reopen the Beijing-Belgrade service. Every week, a roundtrip flight is planned. Every Saturday is the scheduled flight day. The flight coming in will be changed to go to Dalian.

Mongolia

Starting on July 5, 2022, Air China will once again offer flight CA902 from Mongolia to China (Ulaanbaatar to Beijing, with a detour via Hohhot).

Russia

The Chinese embassy in Russia reports that commercial flights between China and Russia will rise from the existing 2 flights per week to 8 flights in order to enhance personnel exchanges.

India

China Southern Airlines has announced that it would restart service on the Guangzhou-Delhi route with one aircraft every two weeks beginning in July.

China Southern's customer care indicated that although CZ3027/3028 are currently planned for July 26, it has not yet been determined if they would depart on time (which is why they are not included in the public China Southern July flight list). Passengers may still make reservations, but they must wait for a final airline confirmation.

Changchun Airport has Resumed International Flights

In addition, on July 5, Asiana Airlines flight OZ303, carrying 87 people from Seoul, South Korea to Changchun, made a successful landing at Changchun Longjia International Airport, signaling the official restart of international passenger operations at Changchun Airport.

It is the first direct international passenger flight route to restart after Changchun Airport's suspension of all foreign flights in early March due to a regional outbreak in Jilin Province.
