"Unity Weekend"系列派对来了！

"Unity Weekend"是由RootsPromotionRecords发起的以根源音乐为主的系列活动，

从Roots Reggae/Dub/Dancehall到Hiphop/R&B/Triphop，

都可以在"UW"的派对上面找到，我们会在每个期待精彩演出和美好派对的周末与大家相见～

在20世纪60、70年代，随着牙买加的雷鬼音乐声音系统文化的出现，Reggae派对文化逐渐开始向外蔓延，这种把音乐带回街头的形式似乎能够迅速地传播到了所有区域，好听音乐和迷人的派对不仅仅只能去富人们在上城区酒吧才能感受得到，Dancehall deejay们在Dub音乐出现后能够更自如地在伴奏上面演唱(toasting)，这使得Reggae音乐逐步演，这种发展最终导致了Hiphop在美国的出现，也使得更多非裔美国人爱上了Reggae。

这种来自加勒比小岛的声音系统文化和Reggae音乐所表达审美也是催生了DJ Kool Herc在纽约的Hiphop音乐场景一部分原因。

Reggae和Hiphop有很多相似之处，包括他们同样代表了来自社会底层人民的声音，无论从对社会意识的呼唤到歌词的创作，他们都注定会对后世流行文化有着深远的影响。

幸运根源“LuckyRoots”是来自北京的雷鬼音乐团体，由Cece Natty和Nyah “Dread” Jahwise组建于2016年，自成立以来便致力于推广以雷鬼音乐为主的根源音乐，除了以录音歌手身份演出之外也常常会以Singjay或Deejay/MC的身份出现在各个雷鬼音乐派对，足迹遍布全国各地以及日本、韩国、东南亚、澳大利亚和新西兰，2017年他们与意大利Dub团体“Dedubros”合作的单曲《Chinese Love Story/中国爱情故事》在南欧的众多soundsystem派对上播放并大受欢迎。

LuckyRoots is a reggae music group based in Beijing by Cece Natty and Nyah "Dread" Jahwise since 2016. Since they establishment, they has been committed to promoting roots music mainly reggae. In addition performances as recording artist, they often appears in various reggae music parties as Singjay or Deejay/MC. 

Their footprints are all over China, as well as Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. In 2017, the single "Chinese Love Story" they collaborated with the Italian dub unit Dedubros became popular at many soundsystem parties in southern Europe. 

From 2019 to 2022, LuckyRoots traveled with their own music in the reggae scenes of many countries in Southeast Asia. After returning to China in 2023, they will continue to spread the spirit of Rastafari and promote reggae music. Feel free to follow us on your favorite music platforms for more music and info.

DJ/PRODUCER FOUNDER OF DIZZYSYSTEM

专注Dub声音系统/Trip Hop; 制作人DJ，拥有Live house负责人 等多重身份，其音乐风格多样，可驾 驭禅意深远的Triphop，迷雾般的 AbstractHip-hop以及节奏灵动的 Funk Soul，甚至是充满异域色彩的 Dub，Jungle，刚烈的Drum and- Bass，Breaks。他在北欧组织起了 Dub厂牌own sound，并化名 Level-DIZZY Selector并与各国的 Reggae singer/rapper一起活跃于 欧洲的音乐节舞台。2012年创建了 活动/音乐厂牌DizzySystem

Focusing on Dub/Trip Hop; Producer and DJ, DizzyDi has multiple identities and has a variety of musical styles, such as the groovy Triphop, the misty Abstract Hip-hop and the rhythmic Old Funk Soul, he likes to add some exotic colors with Dub, Jungle, Drum and Bass, or Breaks. He organized the Dub branded "Own Sound" in Northern Europe and became known as Level-DIZZY Selector while active in the European music festival stage alongside Reggae singers and Rappers from various countries. He created the musical event/label DizzySystem in 2012.
