April Fools' Day 愚人节

It was Apeil 1st. 那是四月一号，

A bus was going down a country road.

一辆公共汽车正在乡村公路上行驶。

Then it slowed down and stopped.

然后它减速并停了下来。

The driver tried hard to start it,but hecouldn't.

司机努力想发动它，但是不行。

Then he turned to the passengers and said,

然后他转向乘客说：

"This bus is too old.I can't start it.

“这辆车太旧了，我发动不了。

Now we can only do one thing.

现在我们只能做一件事。

I will count to three,and on the wordthree,

我会数到三，我一说三，

I want you all to lean forward together.

我需要你们一起都向前倾。

Then the bus will start again."

然后车就会启动。”

All the passengers said yes,

所有的乘客都同意，

and the driver began to say,"One! Two!Three!"

然后司机开始数，“一！二！三！”

When they heard"Three",they allleaned forward hard,

当他们听到三的时候，他们都努力前倾。

and the bus started again.

车子发动了。

When the driver said"AprilFools!",

当司机说“愚人节快乐”的时候，

the passengers suddenly remembered it wasApril Fools' Day

乘客们突然意识到今天是愚人节，

and they all began to laugh.

他们都笑了。
