他出生于1994年10月24日，是印度国际象棋历史上最活跃进步最快的棋手之一。他在2013年1月于18岁零三个月时获得男子国际象棋特级大师称号。他是印度第四位等级分超过2700的棋手。目前他在印度排名第三，仅次于阿南德和哈里克斯男。

He was born on 24 October 1994. He is one of the most vibrant and fast progressing GMs of Indian chess. He attained the title of Grandmaster in January 2013, at the age of 18 years and 3 months. He is the fourth Indian ever who has crossed the rating of 2700. He is currently the third highest rated chess player in India after Viswanathan Anand and Pentala Harikrishna.
