We think highly of our program and like the type of the program. Named German History Education and Culture Exchange. I think both history teaching, history education and culture exchange are really really important for a modern world, especially for our countries we have different history, we have different philosophies. I think this kind of culture exchange and education exchange are really really fundamental of elements for our 2 great nations to understand each other, especially for our younger generations to understand each other. So this is really really important for us to build a good future for the whole human kind. Further, I want to say I really like the themes both the professor Susanne Popp and Dr. Michael Wobring have raised.I think this themes are really important. Last year, we have a very good starting point and this year from the lectures we can move forward the studies of historic educations. Wang Qiongying(SCU):
Good evening, dear colleagues, dear students!
My name is Qiongying Wang from History Department of Soochow University. I’m so glad to meet my old friends Frau Prof. Susanne Popp and Dr. Michael Wobring, and also Ms Prof. Li Yueqin from East China Normal University, on this occasion, again. I am also very grateful to Mr. Prof. Xu Cicheng and Mr. Prof Li, Dean of School of History and Civilization, Shaanxi Normal University, for giving us, me and our students, who study History Teaching Education in Suzhou, this opportunity to participate in the online international course.
It was last year, Mr. Wobring told me that the extension course between Augsburg University and Shaanxi Normal University called “Sino-German History Education and Cultural Exchange” would come again in next year. I’ve already heard this course from Mr. Wobring and Mr. Prof Meng Zhongjie from ECNU and read the curriculum schedule, too, because I’m always interested in the interaction and tension of global history narratives and its application in history education in middle and high school. And this time we’ll talk about the theories and training methods of historical consciousness and culture in the global-history view, which are the foundations of our history education as well. So, Thank you, Mr. Xu, to give me the chance, not only to participate in, the course but also as one of the partner universities of this course.
Due to the epidemic, unfortunately, we were unable to communicate face-to-face with each other, but I think this online course is maybe more convenient and direct for teaching and communication of German and Chinese colleagues and students, and, in a sense, it is a real global flow of historical knowledge.
At last, I hope all the students from different Universities, from different cities to have nice time for this Global History Learning and Teaching course and find your research interest!

Guo Xianghong(SNNU):
Dear Professor Susanne Popp, Dear Professor Michael Wobring,Dear all participants.
The rise and fall of the fate of the country depends on education, and the key to the development of education lies in the training of high-quality teachers. Today, under the background of increasingly close global ties and increasing uncertainty in the world, teacher education occupies a prominent position in the national education system, and mutual exchanges and reference between countries are also of great significance. In 2021, Shaanxi normal University, together with Augsburg University in Germany and some universities in China, has developed courses in the form of online cooperation in order to broaden academic resources and devote itself to the common development of historical pedagogy.
The discipline of history education is full of historical connotation and keeps pace with the times at the same time. It is related to the long-term development of the country. It has the depth of theory and the thickness of practice as well as a special position in the discipline system of history and pedagogy. German higher education has a solid foundation, and history education is in the forefront of the world. China has paid attention to history education since the pre-Qin period and has a profound accumulation. The cooperation between the two sides will bring rich experience for deepening the development of history education and the growth of students.
Today's report will focus on the theme of "History Education and History teacher Education in the German School system". It is hoped that participants will cherish this opportunity for international cooperation, seriously consider the macro vision of the lecture and record micro details and integrate your own thoughts of listening to the lecture into your own history teaching practice and research process. Through our joint efforts, our goal is to make our future teachers not only have a solid foundation in history, but also have a broad international vision, international awareness and national feelings.
Listening to lectures is only an important part of the course content. Actively participating in classroom interaction and conscientiously doing a good job of reflection and promotion after class are necessary factors for succeeding in being outstanding teachers. I suggest that participants can complete our lecture today with these considerations. I would like to thank Professor Wobring for providing us with such an opportunity to broaden the scope of our knowledge. I also thank the students for their active participation and wish the lecture a complete success.
Yang Jin(SNNU):
At 4:45,11th,April,2022, a brief opening section celebrated the beginning of the online event "Sino-Germany World History and Didactic of History (II)”, six speakers from both sides expressed their warmest congratulations to this joint endeavor.Then Dr.Wobring gave us a well-structured,persuading introduction about the didactic of history as a sub-discipline of history science, the tri-partie public school system in Bavaria and history teacher education accordingly.122 participants were very impressed by his even and sonorous voice as well as a very clear language.
A Q&A session, continuing the topic of textbooks, teacher voice or attitude, standardization of teacher education in state or in the whole country,which drew a perfect finish to the event.
