Support the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics
冬奥赛场上，起跳、旋转、呐喊、逆转......运动场上每一个激动人心的瞬间，无不刺激着运动员和观众的肾上腺素。生机勃勃的冬奥画卷徐徐展开，万众瞩目的冰雪盛宴如期而至。中国运动健儿整装待发，在雪白的赛场上为梦想拼搏，佛山市诺德安达学子在用自己的方式为北京冬奥助力，共赴一场冰雪之约。
翰墨丹青绘盛世。5年级的Jolin同学用自己手中的画笔，描绘了一副生动的冬奥盛景，名为《冬天故事》。整幅画作处于广袤的蓝色背景之下，穿着溜冰鞋的冬奥吉祥物“冰墩墩”和选手们一起驰骋在冰雪赛道上，醒目的奥运标志元素和各种冬奥运动项目、冰雕建筑。映射出冬天故事里的各种活力，营造出全民奥运的氛围，更传递了“卓越、尊重、友谊”的奥林匹克核心价值观。
此作品荣获 “祝福冬奥圆梦冰雪”国际青少年绘画邀请展儿童组优秀奖，在4万多幅参赛作品中脱颖而出，成为“冬奥童画国礼”中的一份，作为礼物赠送给前来参赛的各国（地区）代表团成员。
真的没想到自己的画作能够入选，以这样的方式参与冬奥会感觉十分有意义，希望‘拆’到我作品的运动员能够拿冠军。

1、King同学就关于跨性别带来的新社会问题进行演讲。即使话题敏感，他却不畏前行。看我们的孩子已经长大，有足够的能力去思考这些问题。
2、网暴的杀伤力有多大？有多少青少年遭遇过网暴？键盘侠敲字的时候心理OS是什么？Cici同学以网络暴力为题，分享了个人的独到见解，呼吁大家要理性发言，不要站在自己的角度去评判他人的行为。
3、我们要如何正确追星？私生饭对艺人的生活会造成什么影响？Claire同学就近期社会新闻，发表了自己对私生饭的思考,呼吁大家理 性追星，专注个人生活。
4、历经五天四夜，经过千锤百炼，Rockey同学讲述TED演讲冬令营之我见。

Support the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics
In the Winter Olympics, the athletes jump and swirl. The audience root for them and cheers for every switch of the games. Every moment in the arena excites the players and the audience. With the attention-winning games going on, we witness the well-prepared Chinese athletes fighting for their dreams. Our students showed their support for the athletes and became a part of the Winter Olympics in their own unique ways.
G5 student Jolin BAI painted a vivid picture for the thrilling Winter Olympics, which is called Winter Story. In her artwork, Bing Dwen Dwen, the mascot of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, skating on the icy sports field with the athletes under the blue sky. The Olympic Rings, the sign of the 2022 Winter Olympics and different games are noticeable with ice-carved buildings around. The painting reveals the vibration of the event, people’s passion for the Olympics and most importantly, embraces the core Olympic values of Respect, Friendship and Excellence.
Jolin was awarded the Excellent Prize for her wonderful work in the Colorful Imagination of Ice and Snow, Best Wishes for the Winter Olympics - International Youth Painting Invitation Exhibition. Her painting will be put into the special gift packs for the athletes.
I had no idea that my painting would be selected. It’s quite meaningful to be part of the Winter Olympics in this way. I hope the receiver of my painting will be the champion in the games.

思维与演说的力量
TED SPEECH
You may notice some children fail to express themselves logically, show confidence like their peers and perform well during admission interviews with overseas universities. That may be attributed to the lack of logical thinking and expression skills.
To have better logical thinking and expression skills, we spend time practicing for more experience by giving speeches. In the TED x Youth Talk Camp, students had valuable opportunities to practice more. They expressed their own views and gave full play to the charm of logical thinking and speeches. They thought from different angles critically on the latest hotspot news, had great fun and enjoyed the sense of achievement brought by the stage. The highlights of giving a speech inspire them to step on a bigger and wider stage.
Let’s have a view of the excellent performances of the kids!
1、King gave an outstanding speech about new social issues related to transgender. Although the topic is sensitive, he was still brave enough to handle it. Our children have grown up and become capable of thinking about things like these.
2、How much mental damage can cyber violence bring? How many teenagers have suffered from cyber violence? What are trollers thinking as they type the vicious words? Cici shared her ideas on cyber violence. She calls on everyone to express their thoughts rationally and think in others’ shoes instead of judging others’ behaviors subjectively.
3、How to show our love for our favorite celebrities appropriately? What will fanatic sasaeng fans bring to celebrities’ lives? With such questions widely discussed due to recent news about the irrational fans invading the sta rs’ privacy, Claire gave out her thoughts on sasaeng fans. She called for rational ways to support celebrities and suggested the fans focus on their own life.
4、After five days of learning and practicing, Rockey expressed his own views on the TEDxYouth Talk Camp through his special speech.
The new semester is going to start soon. We believe that our students are well prepared. We wish every student could work hard as the Olympic players for their dreams in this new year.
