被特朗普叫成“Tim Apple”后，库克真把推特名改了……

在几日前的一场白宫会议上，特朗普将苹果公司首席执行官库克（Tim Cook）的名字叫成了Tim Apple……

美国媒体the Verge时政记者马凯那·凯丽（Makena Kelly）在报道中写到：

Tim Cook is a pretty well-known figure in the business world. I know a lot of people don’t care about computers and that’s fine, but if you’re in the industry or having some sort of professional interaction with him, I have to think people usually know his name.

库克在商界是个很有名的人物，我认识的很多人都不太关心电脑什么的，但这不要紧。但如果你是这个行业里的人，或者和他在生意场上打交道的话，我觉得你必须得知道他叫啥。

And yet, at an American Workforce Policy Advisory Board meeting today, the president pretty unmistakably called Tim Cook “Tim Apple.”

但是，就在3月7日的美国劳动力政策咨询委员会会议上，特朗普就错把蒂姆·库克叫成了“蒂姆·苹果”。

一开始，凯丽以为可能特朗普话还没说完，讲到苹果（Apple）可能是要说什么别的事。

但没想到的是，说完蒂姆·苹果（Tim Apple），这话就戛然而止了……

Then I thought it might have been part of a trailing sentence like “Thank you Tim... Apple is doing great.” But no, he stops pretty abruptly after saying Apple, and it really sounds like he thinks that’s the last name.

一开始我以为他可能话还没说完，以为他要说“谢谢蒂姆，苹果做得不错”……但是并没有，他说完“苹果”，话就戛然而止了，听起来就是特朗普觉得库克姓“苹果”。

特朗普原话是这么说的：

“People like Tim — you’re expanding all over and doing things that I really wanted you to do right from the beginning. I used to say, ‘Tim, you gotta start doing it here,’ and you really have you’ve really put a big investment in our country. We appreciate it very much, Tim Apple."

“像蒂姆一样的人，你们做着我开始就希望你们做的事情，做大做强。我过去就说，‘蒂姆，你得开始这么做，’你就真的这么做了，你对国家真是进行了大手笔的投资。谢谢你，蒂姆·苹果。”

特朗普这番感谢过后，视频还特别捕捉到了库克被点名后“淡定配合”的表情……

据《今日美国》（USA Today）报道：

Cook, who has led the iPhone-maker since 2011, did not appear to react after the president’s statement. However, people on social media did.

2011年开始执掌苹果的库克在被总统叫错名字之后看起来并没有什么反应，但是社交媒体上的网民反应可大了去了。

这段视频后来在国外社交媒体上瞬间火了。

不少网友到蒂姆的社交媒体推文评论区留言……

网友排着队跟他说“谢谢你，蒂姆·苹果”（Thanks, Tim Apple）；“干得漂亮，蒂姆·苹果”（Well Done, Tim Apple）。

还有一些网友看热闹不嫌事儿大，嚷嚷着要库克换签名：

蒂姆，你能不能把名字换成蒂姆·苹果呀？让大家乐乐嘛。

结果，库克颇有娱乐精神地真的把签名换了……

Tim Cook has apparently embraced President Trump calling him “Tim Apple” and changed his last name to the Apple logo in his Twitter biography.

库克很明显地接受了特朗普总统叫他的“蒂姆·苹果”，在他的推特签名里把姓换成了一个苹果公司的标识。

The Verge的报道提到，特朗普之前就有弄错别人名字的毛病：

Trump has a long history of flubbing people’s names, usually swapping out the first name for something more alliterative. He’s even messed up the names of executives before, like calling Marillyn Hewson, Lockheed Martin CEO, Marillyn Lockheed.

特朗普之前经常弄错别人的名字，经常用什么东西就把人家的姓给替换掉了。他之前也叫错过另一位高管的名字，把洛克希德·马丁公司的CEO玛丽琳·休森叫成玛丽琳·洛克希德。

于是，网友们开启了“涮大佬”模式：

用中文思维想想，这大概就是“马阿里”“李百度”“雷小米”什么的了……
