第七届世界军人运动会开幕式10月18日晚20时在武汉体育中心举行，中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平将出席开幕式并宣布运动会开幕。
The opening ceremony of the 7th CISM Military World Games will take place at the Wuhan Sports Center in the central Chinese city of Wuhan at 8 pm on Friday evening.
Chinese President Xi Jinping, who is also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, will attend the ceremony and announce the opening of the Games.

Over the next ten days, a total of 9,308 soldiers from 109 countries will participate in a record-high 329 events across 27 sports in the host city of Wuhan.

Of the five military-related activities, including the military pentathlon, parachuting and orienteering, 43 participants are defending champions from the last military games in South Korea four years ago.
