近日，中国驻英国、比利时等国使馆宣布暂停在这些国家人员持目前有效中国签证及工作类、私人事务类和团聚类居留许可入境中国（suspension of entry into China for foreign nationals holding valid visas or residence permits）。
对此，外交部发言人汪文斌在例行发布会上回应表示：
The notices issued by the Chinese embassies in the relevant countries have made it clear that this is a temporary response necessitated by the current situation of COVID-19.
中国驻有关国家使馆发布的通知，已经明确说明，这是中方为应对当前疫情，不得已采取的临时性措施。
【单词讲解】
这里的necessitate是necessary的动词形式，根据不同的语境可以表示make necessary（使……变得必要）或者force（迫使）等意思，比如：Business was growing, which necessitated the hiring of additional employees.（生意越来越好，需要多雇点人手了）。

这里的taking into consideration the evolving epidemic situation正常的语序应该是taking the evolving epidemic situation into consideration，即：考虑到疫情形势变化，take something into consideration是我们常见的一个短语。之所以把the evolving epidemic situation放在短语的后面，是因为这部分有点长，放在短语中间会显得前后不平衡。
