百岁仍是少年，许渊冲朗诵毛主席诗词，深情而有力！
2021年4月18日，翻译家许渊冲迎来自己100岁生日。作为首获国际翻译界最高奖“北极光”的亚洲翻译家，许老是无数青年学子心中的“偶像”。
近日，在接受CGTN记者采访时，他再度献声，朗诵了他翻译的毛泽东《念奴娇·昆仑》英译片段，一起来欣赏。
For Xu Yuanchong, a well-known Chinese translator and the first Asian winner of the world's highest prize for translation, the Aurora Borealis Prize, age is really just a number.
Turning 100 on April 18, the distinguished translator has one ambition still to fulfill — to write The 100-Year-Old Dream that tells the story of his own.
Xu shares his translated version of a famous poem by the late Chinese leader Mao Zedong titled Tune: Charm of a Maiden Singer — Mount Kunlun in an interview lately.
许渊冲先生翻译的这首毛主席诗词的全文如下：
横空出世，莽昆仑，阅尽人间春色。
飞起玉龙三百万，搅得周天寒彻。
夏日消溶，江河横溢，人或为鱼鳖。
千秋功罪，谁人曾与评说？
Above the earth, across the blue,
Monster Kunlun in white,
You have feasted your eye on the world's fairest view.
Like three million white jade dragons in flight,
You have chilled the sky through.
When summer melts your snow
And rivers overflow,
For fish and turtles men would become food.
But who has ever judged if you
Have done for ages more ill than good?
而今我谓昆仑：不要这高，不要这多雪。
安得倚天抽宝剑，把汝裁为三截？
一截遗欧，一截赠美，一截还东国。
太平世界，环球同此凉热。
Kunlun, I tell you now:You need not be so high,
Nor need you so much snow.
Could I but lean against the sky
And draw my sword to cut you into three!
I would give to Europe your crest
And to America your breast
And leave in the Orient the rest.
In a peaceful world young and old
Might share alike your warmth and cold!
这首诗讲的是要将昆仑山一分为三赠与世界，共享和平幸福。
有些西方汉学家将“三截”直接翻译成了Three pieces或Three parts，而许渊冲翻译为：
I'd give to Europe your crest.（山峰或顶部）
And to America your breast.（山腰或中部）
And leave in the Orient the rest.（山脚或余部）
更加具象地表达原文世界大同的理想，传达原文的意美；译文有韵，传达了原文的音美；译文整齐，传达了原文的形美。
在采访中，许老还谈到中西方交流的话题，他感慨道，西方之所以不了解中国，是因为他们以为只有西方有道理，中方没有道理。“过去美国人自高自大，以为老子天下第一，别人都赶它不上。现在事实证明，中国就能赶上。”
Xu said during the interview that he thinks the Western world has little understanding of China because Westerners think only they know the truth and that the Chinese are unreasonable.
"Americans used to be arrogant, they thought they're the greatest people, and cannot be caught up with. But it turns out the Chinese could make it," said Xu.
