The
"Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competitions and the Chinese
Show are large-scale international Chinese competition projects hosted by the
Center for Language Education and Cooperation. The competition consists of two
stages: overseas preliminaries and global finals, and has become a
"Chinese Olympic" event that is highly concerned by Chinese language
learners from all over the world.The
17th "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign
Secondary School Students in Rwanda is hosted by the Embassy of the People's
Republic of China in the Republic of Rwanda and organized by the Confucius
Institute at the University of Rwanda. The finals will be held on June 8th,
2024.

School Students who are between 12 and 18 years old, with Rwandan nationality,
grew up abroad, and whose mother tongue is not Chinese.Note:
The champion of the 16th Competition cannot participate in the competition. Students
who are not of Rwandan nationality must participate in the competition on
behalf of Rwanda.3.
Candidates for CompetitionThere
is no limit on the number of applicants for the preliminary round (expected to
be 270), the quota for the semi-finals is 9, and the quota for the final is 3.4.
