展览《曝光》的前前后后 Back Stories of 'Exposure'

工作室画廊荣幸地宣布，艺术家王智乾的个展《曝光》已于2018年10月3日在画廊空间正式开幕。此次展览中，艺术家选择去除底片固定成像对相纸感光的限制，将整个画廊空间进行密闭，在内部放置巨幅相纸。如此一来，整个画廊变成了一台相机。

而现实中这一切真的如艺术家安排的那样顺利么？从9月23日项目现场创作开始直至10月3日结果的呈现，为了这个项目的现场实施艺术家究竟做了什么样的改变和工作？几天之间画廊的空间从白到黑再回到白又经历了什么？现在我们通过图片来一一细数。

Studio Gallery is proud to annouce the solo exhibition of artist Wang Zhiqian 'EXPOSURE' was successfully opened on Oct.3rd 2018. EXPOSURE is the theme of a site-specific creation project, this time, artist Wang Zhiqian chose to remove the restrictions of film fixation on photographic paper. Instead, he sealled the entire gallery space and placed large sheets of photographic paper inside, turning the whole space into a camera.

However is everything really as smooth as the artist though? From Sep 23rd to October 3rd, what changes have the artists done to implement the project? What kind of changes have the gallery space gone through from white space to totally dark and back to bright agian? Now let's count them in detail by photos.

如何让观众在伸手不见五指的空间正常游走、吃喝？

如何在只有安全灯的情况下完成全部的布展？

巨幅的相纸是如何在几乎没有光线的情况下裁切、挂置、最后冲洗的？

How to install the show under the condition of faint darkness?

How does a huge photographic paper being cut, hung on the wall, and developed without light?

2018.10.03-10.28 后续个展 Subsequent Solo Exhibition

在三天的现场创作项目结束后，艺术家与画廊的工作人员一起在画廊对巨幅相纸进行了现场冲洗。不同于通常尺寸，为冲洗巨幅相纸，为此，画廊专门搭建了特殊的冲洗池来彻夜冲洗，现场极为壮观。而在10月3日展览《曝光》的正式开幕上，艺术家将展示的就是这次冲洗的所有成果。

After three days of creating, with the help of gallery staffs, artist began to develop the giant photographic paper at the gallery. Different from the usual size, special tanks were made just for the huge size photographic paper. The scene was reallt spectacular, because everyboday was excited to see what will comes out and Oct 3rd openging artist will showcases everything!
