主讲人简介

高畅 (Augustin F. C. Holl)，现任厦门大学非洲研究中心主任兼特聘教授，曾任加州大学圣地亚哥分校人类学教授、密歇根大学人类学博物馆馆长、密歇根大学安娜堡分校人类学教授、巴黎第十大学副校长，曾于布基纳法索、喀麦隆、毛里塔尼亚、塞内加尔开展田野调查，出版包括《重访迪万》、《古代非洲冶金》、《全新世的撒哈拉人》、《撒哈拉岩石艺术》、《西非早期城镇》、《非洲：考古背景》在内的专著共计15本。

Speaker Profile

Augustin F. C. Holl is Director and resident Distinguished Professor of the African Research Center at Xiamen University (Fujian, P.R. China). He has an impressive track record: Professor of Anthropology at the University of California, San Diego, Curator at the Museum of Anthropology at the University of Michigan, Professor of Anthropology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (USA), and Vice-President of Paris Nanterre University (France). He has also conducted fieldwork in different countries (Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Mauritania, and Senegal) and has published fifteen books including The Diwan Revisited (2000), Ancient African Metallurgy (2000, with M.S. Bisson, S.T. Childs, and P. De Barros), Holocene Saharans (2004), Saharan Rock Art (2004), West African Early Towns (2006), AFRICA: the Archaeological Background (2015).
