主讲人简介

马秀杰，北京外国语大学非洲学院祖鲁语教研室主任，语言学博士，南非罗德斯大学语言学院联合助理研究员。曾获罗德斯大学非洲研究中心颁发的“非洲语言学术杰出奖”，并被南非高等教育与多语化委员会评选为“语言和文化多样化代表”。研究方向：班图语法学、比较语言学。2017年9月入职北外非洲学院，从事祖鲁语专业建设和教学工作，并负责祖鲁语教材和辞书编纂工作，在国内外学术期刊上发表论文10余篇。

Speaker Profile

Dr. MA Xiujie is head of the IsiZulu Department at the School of African Studies, Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), and a Research Associate at the School of Languages, Rhodes University, South Africa. She received her Ph.D. in linguistics from Rhodes University in 2017. She won the “Award for Academic Excellence in African Languages Studies” from the African Studies Center at Rhodes University and was selected as the “Representative for Linguistic and Cultural Diversity” by the Higher Education and Multilingualism Commission of South Africa. Her research interests are Bantu grammatology and comparative linguistics. 

She joined the School of African Studies at BFSU in September 2017 and has played a crucial role in founding the IsiZulu Department. Backed by her teaching experience, Dr. MA has compiled many textbooks and dictionaries and has published over 10 papers in academic journals at home and abroad.
