Cat and Rat.猫和老鼠。

The Spring Festival was coming.

春节就要来了。

The animals in the forest wanted to have a party.

森林里的动物们想要举行一个派对。

Cat and Rat were very good friends.

猫和老鼠是非常要好的朋友。

They wanted to go to the party together.

他们想要一起参加派对。

The night before the party,

就在派对的前一天晚上，

Cat said to Rat,

猫对老鼠说，

"Wake me up early in the morning,please."

“请在早上早点叫我起床。”

"OK," said Rat.

“好的，”老鼠说。

Then Cat went to bed.

然后猫就去睡觉了。

The next morning,Rat got up early.

第二天早晨，老鼠起得很早。

But he didn't wake up Cat.

但是他没有叫醒猫。

He went to the party himself.

他独自去了派对。

Rat ate and drink at the party.

老鼠在派对上吃吃喝喝，

He was very happy.非常开心。

But poor Cat missed the party.

但是可怜的猫错过了派对。

Cat was very angry.

猫非常生气。

Other animals were angry,too.

其他的动物也很生气。

They didn't want to play with Rat.

他们再也不想和老鼠一起玩了。
