第24届冬奥会将于2022年2月4日在北京隆重开幕，为了迎接北京冬奥会胜利召开，“语言服务研究院”公众号开办“迎冬奥特别发布”栏目，将陆续推出冬奥会冰雪运动项目的术语及项目知识，敬请关注！
冬奥会设有15个竞赛分项：短道速滑、速度滑冰、花样滑冰、冰球、冰壶、雪车、钢架雪车、雪橇、冬季两项、高山滑雪、自由式滑雪、单板滑雪、跳台滑雪、越野滑雪、北欧两项。其中，冰上项目占5分项，雪上项目占10分项。

项目简介
Brief Introduction
冬季两项是将完全不同的两种项目-越野滑雪与射击相结合的比赛。选手们身背步枪滑雪，每滑行一段距离后，须在指定的射击位置上进行射击。射击有两种射击姿势，其中一种是卧射，另一种是立射。根据滑行时间和射击的准确性，决定最终排名。该项目也被称为现代冬季两项。
Biathlon is a sport that combines cross-country skiing and rifle shooting, two events which are very different from each other. Athletes strap guns on their backs, ski for a certain distance, and then stop to shoot at a designated target. For the shooting, there are two types of the shooting positions. One of these is shooting lying prone, and the other is shooting standing up. The final ranking is decided by the both skiing time and shooting accuracy.

冬季两项射击场一般设在起终点区附近，运动员到达射击位置，迅速调整装备，摘下小口径专用步枪，卧姿、立姿，5发子弹，每次射击5个靶子，口径5.6毫米，距离50米。
击发最为关键——罚区就在射击区旁边，每圈150 米，脱靶处罚规则如下：
1. 个人赛：脱靶1发加罚1分钟；
2. 短距离赛、追逐赛和集体出发比赛：脱靶1发加罚1圈；
3. 接力、混合接力比赛：每人每轮有3发备用子弹，使用后仍然不中，脱靶1次加罚1圈。
Each biathlon event is treated as a race, with athletes skiing through a trail whose distance is divided into shooting rounds. Depending on the event, missed shots result in additional time or distance being added to the athlete's total.

5. 竞赛场馆
北京2022年冬奥会冬季两项比赛在张家口赛区的国家冬季两项中心进行，将一共产生11枚金牌。国家冬季两项中心位于张家口市崇礼区太子城区域东北侧山谷，依次布置靶场、赛道与起终点区、场馆技术楼等。国家冬季两项中心将承担北京冬奥会冬季两项以及冬残奥会冬季两项的比赛。
All biathlon events will take place at the National Biathlon Center in the Zhangjiakou competition zone. It's one of three new venues constructed in the Guyangshu Cluster, and has a capacity for 6000 spectators.
