冬奥会设有15个竞赛分项：短道速滑、速度滑冰、花样滑冰、冰球、冰壶、雪车、钢架雪车、雪橇、冬季两项、高山滑雪、自由式滑雪、单板滑雪、跳台滑雪、越野滑雪、北欧两项。其中，冰上项目占5分项，雪上项目占10分项。

跳台滑雪起源于挪威，是速度、力量和技术相融合的极致展现，兼具挑战性与观赏性。跳台由助滑道、着陆坡、终点区组成，按照跳台高度和K点距离分为标准台和大跳台。北京2022年冬奥会跳台滑雪项目将在张家口赛区举行，共设五个小项，男子个人标准台、男子个人大跳台、男子团体。女子个人标准台和混合团体，其中混合团体为北京2022年冬奥会新增项目。

The origins of ski jumping can be traced to Norway where, in 1808.  A ski jumping hill consists of the inrun, the landing slope and the outrun. The normal hill and the large hill are classified by the hill size and a K-point. The total of five medal ski jumping events will be held at the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 in Zhangjiakou zone.

跳台滑雪的技术动作包括助滑、起跳、空中飞行和着陆。比赛中，运动员要助滑，注意起跳的角度、时机以及飞行姿态，尽力达到最远的飞行距离，并安全着陆。跳台滑雪由姿势分、距离分、出发门和风力补偿分来决定运动员的名次。

姿势分由裁判根据运动员从起跳台端到越过终点区“跌倒线”的一系列动作进行打分。打分标准包括时间的准确性，动作的完成度，飞行姿势和着陆的稳定性以及总印象。

K点是距离分的评分原点，运动员跳跃距离达到K点为60分，短于K点距离时，以60分为基准扣分，超过黑点距离则加分，距离分的计算要根据K点距离确定每米分值。

出发门得分根据运动员实际选择的出发门与此前确定出发门的变动加减分数。

风力补偿分则根据运动员飞行时的顺逆风状态加减分数，以保证比赛的相对公平。

The technical elements of a jump include inrun set, takeoff move (jump itself), flight phase, landing and ski out (outrun). During a competition, athletes should pay attention to the balanced inrun, takeoff angles and timing, aerodynamics of flight, while trying their best to reach the farthest distance, land safely and ski out in a telemark position.

The total points gained by an athlete consist of the sum of style points, distance points, wind and gate compensation factor.

4. 比赛装备

Equipment 

跳台滑雪中使用的主要器材有头盔、连体服、跳台滑雪板、固定器、跳台滑雪靴和滑雪手套等。滑雪服一般由合成纤维材料制成，厚度最大不能超过六毫米，不能薄于四毫米。规则规定，运动员滑雪服、滑雪鞋、头盔和滑雪镜总重量由身高、体重来决定，对应的雪板长度有专门规定。

滑雪板一般为身高乘以1.45，最宽为11.5厘米，板底有三至五个方向槽，便于运动员调整摩擦力，固定器将滑雪靴固定在滑雪板上，运动员跌倒时会迅速松脱，是避免运动员受到伤害的重要防护器具。

The equipment used for ski jumping mainly includes ski helmets, ski jumping suits, skis, bindings, boots and gloves, etc. To help athletes adjust the friction, there are three to five alongside grooves on the bottom of skis. The ski boots are attached to the skis by the ski bindings, which release the boots to minimize injury when a skier falls.

6. 竞赛场馆

国家跳台滑雪中心将承担北京冬奥会跳台滑雪、北欧两项的比赛。国家跳台滑雪中心是我国首座符合国际标准的跳台滑雪场地，也是张家口赛区冬奥会场馆群建设中工程量最大、技术难度最高的竞赛场馆。跳台剖面因与中国传统吉祥饰物“如意”的S形曲线契合，因此被形象地称为“雪如意”。

The National Ski Jumping Center in Zhangjiakou City, locally known as the "Snow Ruyi", will host the ski jumping and Nordic combined events during the Beijing Winter Games.
