城墙作为一种巨大的军事防御体系，是冷兵器时代保家卫国的有效武器，在南京城墙建成后600多年历史上，发生过许多战争，也出现过许多令人动容的故事，守城人的精神成为民族的精神血脉。

"Offense and Defense": In the cold weapon era, city walls were a highly efficient and indispensable military defense system.
