Encounter of a Lifetime | Freshman Welcoming GALA
This night, CCNU was brilliantly lit up
And we enjoyed ourselves
This night, there was a dazzling display of lights and colors
From now on, 2019
We will ACCOMPANY YOU FOREVER
On September 19th, the 2019 welcome gala for freshmen- ACCOMPANY YOU FOREVER was held on the open-air theatre of CCNU, bringing a magnificent feast for all students and teachers.
At the very beginning, all the audiences sang the song My motherland, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
The cheerful melody demonstrated the charm of Chinese characters. Integrating the style of paper-cut art, the dancer's bright red garments showed the profound connotation of Chinese traditional culture.
Huo Yuanjia combined pop music with Chinese martial. Such relentless drumbeats, lissom dance, and sharp swords which were full of strength and passion brought the audience great enjoyment.
Played by the traditional Chinese orchestra of CCNU, the magic of Chinese traditional time-honored instruments and pieces comforted people's souls and inspired them. The duet took on the shyness and sweetness of the youth.
Teachers and students from the School of Journalism and Communication and the School of music, together with Gouchen and Chenyu drama troupe presented the life of Zhang Fuqing, who was known for his being loyal to the Communist Party of China and his beloved motherland, China.
The radio drama, close to the real-life of today's students, demonstrated different spiritual sustenance of different eras and recalled the childhood of the audiences.
The drillmasters dressed in military uniforms also appeared on the stage, and their performance onstage earned a burst of cheers. Wu xuesong expressed his appreciation for them and also entrusted the blessings from the student to the drillmasters in a song.
The gala came to its climax when the freshmen waved their flags, stood up and joined the chorus. CCNU was brilliantly lit up enchantingly.
The 2019 welcome gala for freshmen has wrapped up
We should start out endeavoring at a new point
