Sweet! The Fragrance of Osmanthus Flowers

With late autumn coming, sweet osmanthus flowers in CCNU bloom quietly. Their golden and orange petals stretch and the fragrance spreads through the campus, bringing us a visual and olfactory feast.

Osmanthus flowers vary in shape. Some of them cluster like strings of little yellow lanterns, while others are scattered among the leaves like elves hiding in the trees. The brilliance of the sun makes them look peaceful and mysterious.

Birds jump among the tree brunches and the bees gather nectar from the flowers, making the campus more harmonious and vivid.

CCNUers wander around the woods, take photos, read books and even recite poems, immersing themselves in this anniversary feast.

The Osmanthus blossoms are all over the Guizi Mountain that one can see these small, unobtrusive and animated flowers everywhere. CCNUers have always had a sense of affinity and belonging to the osmanthus, making it a lovely and sweet symbol of CCNU.
