短道速滑
（Short track speed skating）

Rules: The short track events occur on an oval track that is about 111 meters around. The skaters race in a pack, 4-8 at a time. The first person across the finish line is the winner.
冰壶（Curling）

Rules: Curling consists of three events: women's curling, men's curling and mixed doubles' curling. Each event starts with 10 curling teams. Teams play against each other at a time. The game is played on ice and these two teams take turns pushing 19.1-kilogram stones towards a series of concentric rings or circles. The object is to get the stones as close to the center of the rings as possible.
花样滑冰（Figure skating）

Rules: Figure skating is an Olympic sport where individuals, pairs or groups perform intricate and challenging moves on ice. Basically, it can be classified as men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. As is shown in this picture, Hua Xiaoshiis participating in the women's singles which requires individual skaters to perform jumps, spins, step sequences, spirals and other elements in their programs.
跳台滑雪（Ski jumping）

Rules: In Winter Olympic Games, there are different kinds of skiing including Alpine Skiing, Freestyle Skiing, Cross-country Skiing, Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined, Biathlon, Snowboard, etc. Different kinds have their own special rules.
