致辞嘉宾简介

王武兴，塞浦路斯大学孔子学院中方院长。

1982年2月毕业分配到北京教育学院外语系当教师，从助教到教授，任教34年。其间曾任学院亚太教育研究室主任、中国民主促进会支部主任、学术委员会委员，首都师范大学研究生院硕士生导师。中国英汉语比较研究会会员，中国翻译学会专家会员，国家新闻出版署和国务院新闻办中国图书“对外推广出版计划”国内知名翻译家专家库成员。曾获学院首届优秀教学奖，教师继续教育先进工作者，学院 “德育标兵” 等称号。

2017年6月，王院长来到塞浦路斯大学孔子学院担任中方院长。

同学们好！欢迎大家参加首届中国-塞浦路斯青少年文化交流大赛，

Hello, everyone! Welcome to China-Cyprus Youth Cultural ExchangeCompetition.

我代表塞浦路斯大学孔子学院向本次活动表示热烈的祝贺，

On behalf of the Confucius Institute at the University of Cyprus, Iwould like to extend my warmest congratulations to this event.

我相信通过本次大赛可以加强中塞两国青少年的相互了解和深度交流，

I believe that this competition will strengthen themutual understanding and in-depth exchanges between Chinese and Cypriot youths，

成为推动学校之间合作，促进民心相通和文明互建的有效渠道。

and become an effective channel to promote thecooperation between schools and the communication between the people and thecivil society.

你们是国家的未来，民间外交的使者，一定会成为好朋友、好伙伴，

You are the future of the country and the envoys of the People-to-People Diplomacy. You will surely become good friends, good partners,

和负责任、能担当、有远见的世界公民，

and responsible, capable and far-sighted world citizens,

为两国的友好关系和全面的的合作做出自己的贡献。
